Our goal in the music that we air here at KIBC radio is to encourage, uplift, and to bring your focus back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our growing library of over 9000 songs include selections from Majesty Music, Faith Music Missions, and many more. Sounds of Joy
Dave Freelan produced 2385 Sounds of Joy programs in a little over 50 years. His first broadcast was on Feb. 04, 1968 on one station. That grew to over 430 stations by the time of his final broadcast on July 29, 2018. Dave’s programs of sacred music have been such a blessing to our listeners throughout the years. It is our privilege to continue to bring them to you here on KIBC.

Melodies of Grace
Eph 5:19-20
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; We are instructed in God’s word to personally (“Speaking to yourselves”) recite or sing the psalms and to sing hymns of praise and adoration to the Lord.
Col 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. The word grace in this verse means thankfulness and pleasure, we make melody to the Lord when we sing with grace in our hearts.
The desire for the program “Melodies of Grace” is to direct the listeners heart and thoughts and encourage a worshipful attitude towards the Lord, praising Him for all He is and all He has done. We use primarily remastered vinyl recordings for our song repertoire with a few newer traditional recordings as well. The Idea to start Melodies of Grace was conceived in the year of 2015 as “Graceful Melodies” but not until the beginning of 2023 was the first “Melodies of Grace” recording aired. In 2020 we started remastering the vinyl records we had obtained from the radio station we now broadcast on. The music, mainly due to poor sound quality (pops, crackles and skips) was pulled from; or had never been aired from the stations regular broadcast. During the next three years we slowly started digitizing and cleaning up the sound quality, making it easier to listen to. In February of 2023 we started the program recording process, the goal was to have a handful of programs completed before we started airing, by April 4th we had 6 programs completed and on April 5th we aired our first program with a theme of “what a friend we have in Jesus”.
