Our Founding

Pastor Bud Hennessey founded Burney Educational Broadcasting Foundation in 1984. KIBC went on the air March 1987 with 412 watts of power, broadcasting 15 hours a day, with an all volunteer staff. Since that date, we have raised our power to 3000 watts, broadcasting 24 hours a day to the Glory of God. In 2016, KIBC started streaming around the world at kibcfm.org.

Current Staff

Paul works two days a week at the radio station. From lining up programming and music for computer automation, to maintaining the equipment and tower; Paul’s tasks include anything and everything to keep the radio on the air. The other three days a week Paul works as an electrician for his father-in-law’s company. Paul is married to his lovely bride Trisha. They have four children. In their free time Paul and his family enjoy camping, fishing, waterfalls, and eating ice cream.
